A large young man stomped down the darkening back alleyways of Wixham City, disappearing and re-materializing out of sharp shadows cast by street-lamps onto the warehouses that populated that area of town. Due to his size and musculature, no one would be terribly surprised to see this particular man striding around this part of town. His stature easily categorized him as a heavy-lifting, grunt-work type, and he didn't care about that in the least. What he was doing right this moment, was looking for a fight to pick. He'd been feeling restless and flooded with adrenaline and testosterone all day, and he just wanted to beat some poor sap's face to a pulp. Show some stupid punk that being skinny isn't a good thing, no matter how many stupid bimbos you get for being the size of a twig-- you can never go wrong by being strong. And with the number of women he got on any given day, Barrett Eberhardt proved that. Come to think of it, getting a woman wouldn't be too terrible right now, either. A good lay can drain this kind of pent up aggression just as well as a good fight, and can be just as satisfying. Plus the latter had been easier to come by lately, what with all of these twig-like prats running around. Lucky for them that they were so stupid skinny-- that way, they wasted a minimal amount of space. Deciding that he'd rather wait for a fight to come to him, he leaned his broad shoulders against the post of a crappy, flickering street lamp and his milk-chocolate eyes stared keenly around him into the ever-expanding darkness, eager for someone to give him any excuse in the world, seemingly un-phased by the increasing lack of light...

He wasn't really sure where he was, blindly walking along the crooked pavement that lead him all around the city. He was absolutely blazed, as anyone could tell. Glazed jade eyes scanned the streets for anyone of interest, while his feet followed suit, taking longer than it should have been to go down the sidewalk, to take that turn, to cross the street. He had almost hallucinated that there were cars in the street, zooming by - but of course, he came to his senses sooner or later. But he still had delusions, especially when he was sleep-deprived, like tonight. The streetlights gave him a headache, so he tried to make out the graffiti that was sprayed over the dilapidated brick buildings. Sometimes he went invisible, but he couldn't really tell. It was like some crazy rollercoaster, not that he had ever been on one. Kennedy Cruz wondered if it was a good thing to smoke that one joint, or a really, really bad thing.
After wandering around for an hour, he saw a figure in the distance. Company! Hopefully company that wasn't all in his head. It was tiring talking to the benches, the neon signs, the occasion vehicle. People were so much more fun. He waved to the man, the big guy who looked utterly pleased with himself at the moment. Confidence, yeah, he oozed confidence. Sort of unsettling, but hey, everyone gave off some sort of aura that wasn't who they are. And he would definitely try and figure out who this guy was!
"Hey, hey man!" he yelled, letting his bumbling echo trail into the cramped city streets for a second. "What're you doing out here at this hour? Nobody's around, bro!" He waved more, trying to get his attention. The high was wearing off, but that didn't stop him from looking like an utter nincompoop. Something he enjoyed doing. "Only me and you and probably some kind of wild animal like a rat or something, I don't know, man!"
(more people can join if they'd like!)

[[ OOC;; Oh man, I haven't RP'd in so long I kind of flailed with excitement reading your post. I am so stoked for this. Pardon me while I fangirl and then play a huge jerk. I am so stupidly giddy right now, lol. Also, Kennedy (he is now Ken to me) is hilarious. ]]
Barrett turned his squarish head towards the source of the noise. A young male -- clearly addled on marijuana, judging by the stench -- was stumbling towards him, waving like mad and babbling. "What're you doing out here at this hour? Nobody's around, bro! "Only me and you and probably some kind of wild animal like a rat or something, I don't know, man!" Barrett simply blinked stupidly for a moment, flabbergasted, before playing with the idea of fighting this buffoon. With a quick glance, he sized him up: About his height, but thin. Not too much muscle. Clearly under the influence. Probably not terribly bright. Scars, though, he noticed upon closer inspection. Deciding that this waif wouldn't be worth him expending his energy or time, he scoffed and stared towards the darkening sky with a forced disinterest. "I'm just standing here, dipshit. What does it look like?" he snapped back gruffly. His deep voice carried with it almost an animalistic growl-like note, and his body language shifted to display his irritation. "What the fuck do you want?"
[[ OOC;; UGH my dad's computer crashed and I thought I'd lost this post and yet it turns out that I didn't! I'm so happy! Sorry it took me so long to respond; like I said, I thought I'd lost the post, so I kinda gave up on it for a couple of hours. D: ]]

ooc; it's alright! :> i haven't roleplayed in about forever, sort of getting the hang of it again)
"What the fuck do you want?" he asked, obviously irritated; he giggled, not at the displeasure of the man standing before him, but at how hilarious it sounded at this time of night. He was burly, about his size but with muscles that could probably chop a building in half. He was like a bear almost, with the included bulge around his waist. Even if he wasn't as high as a cliff, he would have still made an attempt to talk to him, although much more cautiously. He awkwardly strided up to the heavier guy, staying only a few meters away from him in case that guy decided it would be a good idea to rip him in half.
"Apfffft, no need to be so impolite, you're acting just like Miss Grumpypants!" He chuckled again, remembering the eternal scowl that was sketched across her face whenever he had come back from a night of wandering around, usually with some kind of new "battle scar" or a bruise, or just scrapes from falling down one too many times. She would begrudgingly wrap his bandages, wondering if he could even wrap them himself. He would just laugh and let her do the rest.
"Anyway, I just wanted to say hello! Eheheh... but how are you doing, really?" He attempted to curl his smile into some sort of serious frown, but he ended up just laughing the whole deal off, standing lopsided in front of him.

It was starting to get to a point where it seemed like this stoned idiot was looking to get beaten up. First by comparing Barrett to a woman -- the highest insult he could think of -- and then by actually trying to get him to open up, which was not going to happen. Then the dumb ass just started laughing for no reason; now the German man was feeling mocked, which was the final straw.
Standing from his slouch against the light-post, he rolled his shoulders back and tilted his neck side to side, eliciting sharp pops that echoed around the empty alleys, and clenched his rather large hands into fists, opening and closing them. "Look, genius," he growled, taking a single step closer to the youth. "I don't know if you're being a smart-ass or just plain dense, but I think you need to step the fuck off, okay?" Another aggressive step was taken forward, and his face was lost in shadow. Only his eyes could be seen, almost glowing a subtle, eerie golden color as they reflected what little ambient light they could catch.
As he stepped and spoke, however, a thought began to bubble in the back of his mind. This was one of the first people to show any interest whatsoever in his life in months. Granted, his reaction to such 'intrusion' was often the same as at this current moment, but he had a feeling that maybe talking to this one dope (haha, look, he made a pun!) wouldn't be so bad.
Nevertheless, his advance continued, and he stared the other male down with almost as much force in his eyes as before.

Ken was aware that this guy was probably going to rip him in half any second now - testosterone-pumped guys like him attempted that quite often. My God, those eyes were boring into his soul, grinding it down to the very last bit of whatever made up a soul, he had no clue. He just kept grinning, half-baked, dopey green eyes staring into his own. He could kinda tell when someone was displeased with him, but usually it was a lot more subtle than this. This guy, he was just totally furious at the fact he had even stopped to say hello! Kennedy would have just said "hey bro, calm your tits, we're friends, right?" but he was guessing that he would get punched in the face for that. "Alright, alright, I'll go."
Instead, he decided to disappear for a moment. Usually, it started with his head and ended with his feet, which casually lead him to the street, going completely out of sight. He stepped back even more, quiet as possible ,making sure that he was in complete darkness. And then he waited, keeping his breath still, making sure he could keep his form while the big dude wondered where he went. He had often used his invisibilities to do something silly, like cheating on hide-and-seek, streaking through the city, photobombing pictures (which, when they were developed, had a ghostly outline of him), stuff like that. He had even used it for combat once or twice. He wasn't even sure what he was trying to pull right now, but Ken thought it was pretty necessary to use it. Scare the guy a little bit.
