The prime of this roleplay is set in the country of Wixham's capitol city, "Wixham City", towering proudly with factories and warehouses. The majority of it's residents are thick-skulled, narrow-minded, heartless, and violent. For most, Wixham is a less than pleasant place to live, being a common scene of rape, gangs, shootings and drugs. Neighboring countries are Rowell, Pellayne, Ebuna, and Del Antra. **in progress
Striving quietly within the seams of the city live a strain of human beings like no other. They posses strange abilities, gifts you could say. They were labeled "Alternates", seen as nothing higher than animals. The mortal residents of Wixham were terrified by the idea of such strange, unpredictable people wandering the streets, threatening the safety and well-being of the city. Quickly after the discovery, the mortals confronted their fright by taking action, creating concentration camps along the outskirts of town. Here the Alternates would be imprisoned and put to work, slaves to their "pure" cousins. When confined within the walls, an Alternate's gift would be essentially be "turned off", but not destroyed. The process of destroying gifts, mending the genetic code, takes much more patience. Within laboratories further research is taking place on the matter, experimenting on live human lab rats-- rejects from the camps for bad behavior.
Little do the they know, the Alternates have been living under their feet buried away in caverns beneath the city and hiding out in abandoned warehouses. Those brave enough, or those with less obvious gifts, attempt to lead a normal life within the city's heart.
The origins of these gifted humans remains a mystery, even to them. They are desperate for the truth, this is where a piece of our plot takes place. Unveiling the truth, searching for answers. The challenge of mastering their gifts, the struggle for life, and the fight for freedom.
